Pakistani music industry is in trouble | NewsPakistan.PK

Music

Music industry hasn?t been going as well in Pakistan as it could be if this country hadn?t become a security state. Much has been written about music and this practice will continue till the existence of the world.

?

The entire Sub-continent is blessed with hundreds of outstanding voices but Pakistan failed to use them in the right way. Unlike other countries, Pakistani film industry is taking its last breaths. Due to the deterioration in the law and order situation and lack of support by the government departments, the Pakistani film industry lost its value among the masses.

?

Many big names opened their eyes in this small region. Ghulam Ali Khan, Salamat Ali Khan, Mubarak Ali Khan, Pathaney Khan, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jehan, Aziz Mian, Nazia Hasan, Alan Faqir, Tufail Niazi, Alam Lohar and Mehdi Hasan are a few names of the long list of legends who had enthralled audiences beyond borders.

?

Despite indifferent conditions, there are many brilliant names who are promoting the name of the country across the globe. However, they are not as famous in their own country as they should be.

?

Ghulam Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shafqat Amanat Ali, Atif Aslam, Hadiqa Kiani, Sajad Ali, Fariha Pervez, Arif Lohar, Ataullah Khan and many more names are giving their best to keep this art alive.

?

Many of them are household names in neighboring country, India, where the film industry is earning billions. Despite having big names, Bollywood is incomplete without the Pakistani singers.

?

However, we as a nation will have to work hard to keep this industry alive if we want to transfer our art to the next generations. Along with the government, individuals should also play their role in promoting the art.

?

Through Sufi Music, Pakistan can promote its real picture in the world. In order to counter the evil of terrorism, we can prop up a message of peace across the globe. In conclusion, for this purpose, we will have to become united, like we were at the time of partition.
